Meet Charles Grau

Throughout my life, I’ve been passionate about education and serving the community. This is evidenced by my deep commitment to various local organizations and, in particular, to the students of Montville Township. I have served as a member of the Montville Township Board of Education for more than 27 years, 13 of those years as president. During my tenure on the Board, a number of important initiatives have been accomplished. These include the 2017 referendum to provide air conditioning in all instructional spaces and the upgrading of the HVAC systems and the media centers in all seven schools. In addition, I served on the ad hoc committee to broker a shared services agreement with the Township Committee for the implementation of a School Resource Officer in the district.
